I would bet you have a bad ground somewhere in your system. I have a pico fuse in my decks and have had NO problems.

Pioneer put that fuse in to protect the head unit. Bottom line, what causes this is an insufficient ground at the amplifier. If the ground at the amp isn't a good one then electricity travels the path of least resistance and blows the fuse instead of frying the head unit. Therefore, as I said...
