I see, that makes sense. I was always under the impression that streaming audio over bluetooth was worse, because it gets compressed. I ended up purchasing the Pioneer MVH-200EX, and it should be coming in within a couple days. Thanks for your help! I'm excited to see the difference it'll make.

I agree that normally I would give up on aux however I use an LGV30 which has a pretty good DAC. But in order to use the quad DAC, music needs to be played via aux

The pioneer 200ex seems to be the better deal. The only thing different is that the 200ex has sub preamp outputs, and the 201ex doesn't. But the 201ex has switchable rear preamp outputs while the 200ex doesn't. What's the difference and is it worth the $30 difference?
