i meant the lp filter for 80 ssf ill put at 35 my box is tuned for 33 hz i think tha what u mean by tunning freq and 12 for other thank for being such a big help now i just gotta figured where to set the gain at

ok thnks ill put it at 80 no bass boost and i mess with the gain thanks sub sonic filter should be at 15 right and one last question shuld the last switch be on 12 db or 24 db no idea what it was called

ok heres what going on i just recently bought a 1242 type r and there 600w amp alpines like 605m or something i got 4 gauge wire running to it and i know the sub is olny 500 w rms but every one says it can take a lot more so i got a 600w amp anyways i built a ported box 1.8 cu but 1.3 minus port...

i had a big problem i bulilt this box and the front is 12 inches but the sub i got is a alpinr type r and it mounting daimieter fits but the screw holes wont they fall right over the hole so my question is can i put the sub in the top of the box will it make any difference if the sub and port...

any reason and isnt it under powered if it rated at 500 rms

2 10" kicker comp vrs 05 model ported or 1 12" apline type r 05 model ported and i have 400 watts rms

i can get 2 10" cvr in a ported box thats 400 rms or i can get 1 12" type r 500 rms but i have no clue the rms on it in a ported box cant find specs on it anywhere is it lower like other subs and would it run off a kx400.1 amp 400 rms at 2 ohms ported or should i get the two kickers same price

but how would they sound sealed if they are both under powered by 100 watts they are each 300rms rated
