Your HU is a crap! Your amp maybe bombarded with clipped signals. Its a good thing your amp protects because if it wont, then alot of stupid people may lose a great sounding amp.

Sir dont worry those sets can handle plenty of power. Perfects comps are very POWER hungry. These sets are amazing, your ears will bleed before these comps distort(IMO). Word of caution though, if it gets to loud I predict those sets will cut the amp goes quiter for a second and come back again...

I guess Im not the only one who has the same problem. Was looking for a thread like this. I also have an infinity kappa perfect 6.1 set and the same problem goes with other Perfect owners; the amp cuts at high volume. I have an amp perfectly level matched and the same problem presist. I hope...
