correct, it is 1800 but that is max, at 1 ohm, im running 4 gauge wire and 2 ohms on the sub which is only 1200 on the amp, and 4 gauge cant really carry that much juice, so i guess it evens out?

walmart box, just for something quick, but now i see what the meaning of worthless is... why would i have to take the speakers out of the rear deck? anyway making a new box right now, wow, what a variety of b.s. you can try to make it look good while still battling for the optimum cubic feet...

not sure what you mean by ski rack, i have dissasembled the entire back seat/trunk to run the wires to the battery, and i guess by the ski rack you mean part of the metal wall between the cabin and the trunk that looks like it is preforated/outlined?

i have a 95 bmw, and the problem i have is that i loose alot of sound because of bmw trying to seal off the trunk. i have image dynamic ID Max 12" sub, audiobahn 1800 watt amp. bought i crappy wal mart box and it just isnt cutting it, so trying to decide weather or not to go...

ok so its seven feet, should i ground it to somewhere else in the trunk that will not make as good of a ground as the battery? would a higher gauge wire suit me better if i kept it grounded to the batt?

Audiobahn A18001DQ Amp, one Image Dynamic ID MAX 12 yes my box is ported, thou i took the lazy mans way of getting it, i bought it off ebay cheap and didnt bother building it to the exact specifacations from Image Dynamics, yeah i know thats bad...... but would that really make a difference...

i recently installed a Image Dynamics ID Max 12 V.3 with an Audiobahn amp, it is running at 2 ohms right now, and whenever i give it some real power from the remote, it goes crazy, not even to the beat of the music, almost like its just vibrating....i know this seems like a odd question, just...

two 12's would supply tighter bass than one 15........ go with 2 12s

dumb question...... but does the amp accept 0 gauge wire at the terminal? it doesnt seem like its that big of a hole

yeah a new alternator would be nice, but a new alternator for a BMW just is a little out of my league in price, and i dont feel like havin to pay for an install for it or trying to do it myself. i think im jus guna run 4 gauge and pay the price of having less power, o well thou, isnt 1200 watts...
