The shiva is what I have in my car. I like it but she's looking for a tube for her car. I was just posting that as a comparison. What kind of tubes are good?

How about simply...why are you making it bigger than is needs to be? why are you looking to use sand....why not just make it the right size?

I'm running a kicker kx 500.2 to one adire Shiva. I'm gonna put it as a mono load from the amp and wire it in parralel on the dual 8 ohm voice coils. This will give me the 4 ohms that can be run from the amp for 500 total watts to the Shiva. This means that each voice coil is getting 250...
