OK. I just bought another Alpine MRD-M1005 but it will not put anything out to the subs. It powers on and everything but no sound. I have yet to check the outputs with a DMM. I have the same amp in my truck and it works with the same wiring. I'm pretty sure the dumbass that I bought the amp from...

I have a 97 pickup and the gauge is bouncy like that too. Mine goes down when I smash the brakes and up when I stomp the gas too.

Mine do it on hypnotize when I turn it up too loud.

I have that exact same headunit no problems but I dont turn it up past 18 or 20 so I dont know.

Just got one of the cable cutters in the mail from summit racing. These things are awesome. Could have gotten them cheaper though at weldingsupply.com. I havent seen them any cheaper than $23 at lowes.
