looks like you got a bad grounding. you could easily fix that if you know the source of the sound. you probably didn't ground the head unit right. thats what happen to mine.

i decided to get MOMO component system. i think it should increase the quality of the sound, plus with 4 tweeter. anymore suggestion?

i just reinstalled evrything in my xterra (my equipment list is on the bottom). everythings looks good , but it only hit 140 db. I expect it to be around 150-160 db. the good thing about it is the sound quality. The sound is like pure and crystal clear. I lowered the bass a lot so not too...

i found out whats causing the noise and engine noise. The head unit was not grounded right! everything else was ok. if i know that then i dont have to spend $200 on a new good rca cable. dont ever install your audio at good guys! they tend to screw up everything!

what's a bobine hood? where do i get it and how much?

cost me around 5000 bucks including all the accessory such as the good wire.

do i really need an electronic crossover for my setup (look below) ?

i just got my 2 polk audio momo120 12" , and my 2 bd1000.1 amp (1000watts each) installed in my car. When i turn it on for a while the 2 sub started to produce a funny smell. the guy at the shop said it's normal because the sub gets warm during an operation. I don't turn the volume all the way...

you should get the same stuff as i do because i have a similar car as yours. look below for my setup.

i probably use a sealed box. i just going to get a big sealed box.
