    But the air is moving. The speaker is exciting the the air inside the enclosure. The air inside the enclosure acts as a spring to move the "piston" of air in the port back and forth. I think somehow you are confusing the fact that a port can never have more displacement than the speaker exciting...

    Stuffing ported box

    Stuffing a sealed enclosure can be beneficial because it changes the interior condition from adiabatic to isothermal. Stuffing a ported box will only help if you are having problems with standing waves or ringing. -chris

    Supplies you need to build an enclosure

    Biscuits would make stronger joints. But if you already have a router you can make dado joints which would be even stronger. (Pretty easy to do with a router table.) Personally, I never use screws when assembling an enclosure, just brad nails and thats just to hold it together until the wood...

    Which glue to use for carbon fiber vinyl?

    If the panels are flat I'd use regular contact cement (like Weldwood) that you paint on. If you need to stretch the vinyl, you'll need a Landau Top contact cement that needs to be sprayed. -chris
