    well im getting 2 12" l5 kickers, a viper 1200.1 amp would those be pretty loud in a 2004 silverado?(don't worry about the door speakers)

    wiring two 12" L5's

    alright well i've looked at the sticky about the voice coil wiring and it said you could wire two 4ohm dvc subs into a 1 ohm load, but when i look into the manual of my kickers it shows them loaded parallel into a 4 ohm load. i'm confused someone help me. can i load 'em into 1 ohm or not?

    Refurbished?

    There is a refurbished 1200.1 Viper amp for $189. First of all, is the amp good? second, does the fact that it's refurbished make it worse than a new one or will it work just the same?

    besides the 150 watts (l5=600 rms,l7=750 rms) wat's the difference between the 12" L7's and the 12" L5's? I'm asking because i wanna put in about a 1000 watts for my truck and i'm gonna give 500 watts to each. so if it doesn't make a difference i'll buy the L5's. thanks for any help
