2016 Cadillac CTS sedan.  No upgrades to the electrical.  Budget is around $200 

I am planning to get a single American Bass XR12D2.  It's 2 ohm DVC and planning to wire it as 1 ohm.  The rms power handling is 1000 watts.  What is a good budget amp for it?

I need my trunk space.  The max mounting depth I can go for the box is 5 inches

I have a rear deck with 2 factory "subs". I want to remove these and build a box mounted under the rear deck with the subs facing into the car.  Should I do 2 subs sealed, or one sub ported with the port facing into the car?  Which will be louder?

My car comes with two 6x9 "subs" on the rear deck.  I want to remove them and build a shallow box mounted beneath the deck with the subs facing into the car.  My budget per sub is around 100.

I will be getting a pair of Tantric HD10's powered by a single American Bass VFL 4480 with 2200 watts rms. What battery do you recommend?

Thanks that's good advice. I was thinking of going with a pair of Tantric HD10's and later get a VFL 4480. So what are your thoughts on my big 3? Will my OEM 2 gauge suffice?

anyone? do I need to upgrade to 0 gauge or OEM 2 gauge should be fine?

My bad I thought I upgraded the cable from battery to chassis on this car but that was done on my previous car. I just checked the OEM cable from battery to chassis and it says 2 gauge. The red cable going into the battery looks the same size so I am guessing that's coming from the alt and...

VFL looks promising however I cant seem to find a HO alternator for my 2012 Cadillac CTS coupe. Will just upgrading the 3 cables suffice?

What amp do you recommend? I don't think I can fit 12s or a 15 in my limited trunk space. My car is the Cadillac CTS Coupe.
