i use to have a 12" power hx2 in my jeep, but the sub faced the back and so did the ports, and it slammed in 2.5 ft^3. I hit a 140.5 dB once but didnt even have enough juice going to it really. The hard top helps out a lot with that as well. Try facing your ports towards the back and see if you like it better, that is if you can. Check out my new box Im building this weekend thats going in my jeep, I think you might like it.
