I think you're wrong - by a mile. This is not about a bunch of ******* reacting to being butt hurt, this is political strategy. TBH, it's brilliant strategy.
Nick Freitas posted about this a few years ago. IIRC Nick dates it back to 2023, but this really dates back to the BLM riots. They started in with everything Trump or the right did was -ism or -phobia and really ramped up Fascist/Nazi/Dictator. Then they started in with the ***** Genocide talk and that "speech is violence." The CRT/Systemic -ism narrative plays a role too. As Nick said/says, they were laying the groundwork to justify violence and the "weaker minded" ones have responded with violence. As we can see from their attempts to pretend like Charlie's assassin was really a right winger, the celebrations of his death, etc, that was their goal, they're glad it happened and they want it to continue. Look at the confrontations they keep initiating at Charlie Kirk vigils - clearly they trying to incite violence against them to justify continued violence against the right.
In addition to the language of the left, we have the misinformation and biased reporting that is leading to further radicalization and that radicalization isn't coming from a small minority on some discord server. It's coming from their top dogs like The View, that Rachel Maddow dude, Anderson Cooper, AOC, Newsom, etc.
There are some high profile libs condemning the celebrations, but they have yet to condemn the rhetoric that led us here. Honestly, I don't expect some apology or acknowledgment that they have caused this violence. For comparison's sake the right never condemned the rhetoric that lead to J6 either. But actions speak louder than words and the right has backed off and not repeated J6. J6 lasted a few hours. OTOH, the BLM rioting lasted for days and weeks and has been followed by further (ICE) rioting, unprovoked attacks on whites by minorities, the ambush of ICE agents, etc, etc, etc.
