Aurora and it's hardly Ritzy and the prices are really different when I'm "ritzier" parts of town. I looked up 24 packs - $16. I don't buy 24 packs.
OK. SO I guess you could see where I might say it's disingenuous to claim you are paying $20 for a 24 pack that actually goes for $13.28, even if you are choosing to buy the 12 pack at $7.64
If you were actually paying $5 for a 12 in 2020 ( I might have been paying $10 for a 24 pack with a coupon back then), $7.64 is far from a "doubling" in price.
I was 100% honest in the prices that I paid for the goods in that order I made 30 months ago, and did not cherry-pick products to compare. I just hit the "add to cart" button where it was available (and the products had by-the-ounce pricing). And I also picked a good variety of items, not just Diet Coke.
I'm going to try for another older order, maybe 2021. I think that's when I started my orders for pickup or home delivery.
To have an honest discussion about the topic, are you willing to do the same, or are we going to be stuck at the "
because I said so" and "
all data is faked" phase, like I see from other people here?
Yes it was a temporary law too - so it expired after a year. But they were really just looking out for SA victimes.
They modeled it after the Child Victims Act, which provided a similar one-year window. Think they were going after Trump on that one, too?
It was
unanimously voted a "yes" by the New York Senate in May 2022.
After the ASA was passed, there were about 3,000 lawsuits filed. High profile cases include almost 1,500 against the NYS DOC, with a big portion of them against two specific facilities.
They also allowed for suits against Bill Cosby (multiple plaintiffs prior to the Trump suit), Rudy Giuliani (prior to the Trump suit), Axl Rose (same month as Trump), Sean "Diddy" Combs (same month as Trump), Jamie Foxx (same month as Trump), Cuba Gooding (prior to the Trump suit), Governor Andrew Cuomo (same month as Trump), NYC Mayor Eric Adams (same month as Trump).
I'm sure that the whole thing was about "getting Trump" and that those 1,500+ cases against the NYS DOC had nothing to do with the push. Just a coincidence that there were another 1,500+cases against private parties.
Of course, we can ignore that the Catholic Church fought hard against the Child Survivors Act that was enacted before the ASA, and ignore the 2006 removal of the statute of limitations on **** in the 1st degree, and extension on them for **** in the 2nd degree.
Those were just part of the sinister plan ramping up to the ASA to "get Trump" and in the end it's all about "getting Trump".
But I'M the one with "Trump Derangement Syndrome". Because that's what anyone who points out anything bad about Trump must have.
Yeah...
