It's pretty cool that they intentionally misquote Walensky in this meme.
What she ACTUALLY said was: "Our data from the CDC today suggests that vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don't get sick, and that it's not just in the clinical trials, but it's also in real-world data."

But, why would we allow reality to interfere with the anti-vax conspiracy narrative that we REALLY want to push, even at the expense of the truth.
Right?
Did you really just make a smart *** comment about misquoting? Really?

Are you saying that by leaving out words it does something different to the quote??? I mean she did actually say the quoted words right?

I mean it's not like it changes the CONTEXT right? You know Context:
n
"the circumstances that form the setting for an event, statement, or idea, and in terms of which it can be fully understood and assessed"

Maybe the meme is just "paraphrasing" Rob and we should just know what she meant.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said their surveillance system flagged a link between the new shot and a higher risk of an ischemic stroke three to four weeks post-vaccination.

Officials said other systems put in place to track vaccine injuries have not found a similar link, which makes them believe it is a statistical anomaly rather than a true cause for alarm.

'Although the totality of the data currently suggests that it is very unlikely that the signal … represents a true clinical risk, we believe it is important to share this information with the public, as we have in the past, when one of our safety monitoring systems detects a signal,' a joint statement from the CDC and FDA said.

Read the quote, stupid. They took a PART of a sentence, and then changed it to look as if it was the WHOLE sentence. THAT is what is is known as a misquote.
If you are omitting words or quoting only part of a sentence, an ellipsis should be used to indicate such, in order that the partial quote cannot be used to change the intent of what was originally said or written.
Did you ever take an English course in your LIFE?
This is grade-school level writing, fer chrissake.

"An ellipsis ( . . . ) is used to indicate something was omitted. MLA requires ellipsis before or after the words used when you are quoting more than just a word or a phrase;"
"In general, it is not necessary to use an ellipsis at the beginning or end of a quotation, even if you are quoting from the middle of a sentence. An exception is that you should include an ellipsis if, to prevent misinterpretation, you need to emphasize that the quotation begins or ends in midsentence."

At minimum it’s greed with the way the gov gave out money for treating covid…financial incentive to diagnose people with covid for hospitals
