Hello im looking to buy an amp in the 700rms range mono prefered nothing expencive just dependable any ideas? plan on pushing maybe 4-6 re 8" ty for any replys

My Kicker KX600.1 was 731rms @ 2ohms on my birth sheet @14.4 v

so @ 12.5 v should be pretty close

Great amp BTW, fokker loves to play loud- my first class d so i'm amazed how it handles the sub and keep feeding it

My kicker kx600.1 was also rated at 700+ on it's birth sheet. Great amp.

if u get some special coils u can run 4 off a bx1000d like im gonna do

teg racer special coils ? on the re websight it says all re subs are dual 4 ohm what coils would i need and how much extra do they charge for this also that 2.1 cubed box in your sig is that for thoes 4 re 8"s ? thanks to all for the help

umm when u call them ask about the change, and the box is tuned for 4 @ ~35hz

i also have the plans of the box if u would like...

Probably ...
3 year old amps don't appeal to most people ... The construction quality of those amps were spectacular, definitely a step or two above the KX/SX in my opinion. However, the KX/SX line obliterates the older DX/ZR/ZX/XS lines in terms of features ...

efficiency being one of them....my two ZR amps were severe power hogs (2 ZR360's)

If they are dual 4 ohm and you want 4, I'd just get an amp that pushes 150x4 at 2 ohms like my diamond d5 600.4

yeah, RE subs are nice that way, impedance flexibility = very good thing.

so 150x4 wouldnt work as well
can 4 dual 4 ohm subs be wired down to 1 ohm?
