Well the reason I ask is because it seems kind of stupid to "not work" on a particular day. It is not going to hurt the government or make them think any differently about the situation. In fact, imo, if it's going to bother anything it will be the companies that employ these individuals. So why would the Mexicans want to hurt those very same people that give them work? I heard some sort of rumor that the government was supposed to charge each illegal currently in the US $2000 to get there papers. Some families would be looking at well over $10,000. IMO, if this law was passed, why not make the employers front some of that bill, afterall, they pay the Mexicans cheap and most likely will have a lot of trouble replacing them. Just wanted to hear more reasoning behind the "movement".
