Amp is a thunder 801d , does 800 rms at 14 volts. i was thinking about getting rid of my 15 and going with 3 ssa dcon 12's. i used to run my zx750.1 at 1.33 ohms but it would go into protect on deep songs like late nite tip or bass i love you. think the mtx will too?

maybe i'll just replace the 15 with another brand. the rd is pretty rough looking and i dont like the way it sounds on metal. it's attack is not quick enough on double bass drums. gets real muddy. how you think a fi q will attack on metal?
