ill be honest, I want to trade it in to escort to get trade in value for a new radar detector. I mean if someone wants to keep it so they can trade it in by all means go ahead but if you're really not interested in getting a new one, then id rather give someone a few bucks for their junker before they throw it away.

yes. they are not going to test every 5 dollar detector that comes in there to make sure it works. its just a market ploy to make people upgrade from their old detectors and feel like theyre getting something out of it.
