Why do all the BEST amps always get discontinued?

Very simple question why do they ALWAYSSSSSSSSSS stop/quit making/producing the BEST amps that have EVERRRRRRRRR came out?
Such as the old...
Orion2400D amps that were AMAZING!
Sundown Audio SCV 3000D 3500D and 4000D!
Pre-2010 JL Audio amps!
Pre-2002 Rockford amps!
Pre-2004 Kicker amps?

Like if every1 says these are the best and most amazing amps that were ever put out
WHY DO THEY QUIT MAKING THE BEST!!?!?
Like i do not get it at all what so ever if someone could help me understand please?

You would think the companys would wanna keep making money and in business i do not understand?

Meh. I would take a Sundown SALT 3k over an SCV any day.

But for the most part. MONEY.

Company's bring out great products and attract the attention on the bigger company's
They buy up all the little guys because of the name/reputation and then put out cheap **** in order to maximize profit.
Some people ask if you could go back in time and kill Hittler and stop the war would you?
Not me, I'd find those bastards at DEI and stop them before they screwed everything up.
Imaging what great things Phoenix Gold would have done if they continued on the same way they were before the buy out

Electronics change on the daily bruh...tv I paid like $800 6 years ago is worthless because Samsung no longer supports it meaning I can't update the software.

Samsung stopped making toner for my printer that is only 2 years old
Sure I can buy aftermarket stuff but that's not the point

I was buying gear in 86'. The SQ amps that I remember back then were Nakamichi and A/D/S. Other good brands were Rockford, PPI, and some of the Orions.

I still have a PQ8 sitting in a box somewhere.
I also have an Xtant 604x
Soundstream used to make a great SQ amp back when too
MB Quartz was the go to for front end and ID had those horn driven tweeters

I thought the blue Soundstreams were early 90's, but I think you're right, late 80's. I had a Rockford Punch 150 hd on my highs and a Nakamichi PA-400m as my bass amp. Both running through a Nakamichi EC200h 2 way electronic crossover. Great amps.
