Okay.. currently I run 2 12" Kicker L5's on a hifonics bx1605d... the box is some where around like 3.5ft^3 maybe a little less.. its tuned to 33hz.. it hits don't get me wrong but i'm done with Kicker I believe... I just recently had to repair one of my L5's cone (reattached it with some rubber cement).. I guess its just the design that the corners are bound to come undone... my headunit being a Sony (I will never buy again... http://sonicelectronix.com/item_6477.html# -- later version of mine.. mines the silver one) which was a huge mistake.. I can't believe how bad that Sony scans CD's... I can't even bump to a song with my windows up and the volume up it ***** so bad..

SOOOO I came up with a new setup I'd like to go with.. my new headunit would be a panasonic CQ-C8303U ( http://sonicelectronix.com/item_6450.html# )... and instead of going with my 2 12s.. i'd like to mix it up and get a 15" type-r ( http://sonicelectronix.com/item_7033.html ) ... of course i'd have to build a new box but thats all in the fun of redoing your system.. also the headunit has 3 preamp outputs.. which I could throw my 300watt amp on some new midspeakers.. probably some db drives or something for the mid speakers..

so whats your thoughts about it?

oh btw i drive a blazer and heres some pictures of my setup, but they're old ( http://www.cardomain.com/ride/702390/2 )

oh and my wiring i use for all this is here... http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3938.html

you have to call RE for a dealer near you. they don't do direct pricing anymore. and i'm pretty sure we don't have an RE dealer in oklahoma. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

http://www.reaudio.com is the website

btw, you might get a USAMPS rep since they merged/bought out RE.

also, i'd go for something a little better than a panasonic HU as well.

at least step-up to an alpine/pioneer/eclipse.

this is what i've been looking at instead of that panasonic before you posted... http://sonicelectronix.com/item_6308.html#

so yah what would a price range be on those SX?

actually that pioneer isn't a bad hu.
as far as price, i'm not sure as i've never looked into RE cuz i could never afford it.

yeah i really liked it...

and i just looked up RE audio on some european site and if i'm correct there 1 pound is our $1.5 so that comes to around $472 from there 315 what they had posted for an SX15. a tad out of my price range haha

can you guys start suggesting some 15" subwoofers for me to check out?

talked to the authorized dealer for oklahoma about RE audio subs.. about the SX 15"... he said over the phone he had to tell me $399 but if i came out there and talked to him he would make me a deal.. i really like those subs tho so i think i might try and get some extra hours at work.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
