Used Liquid Nails... Uh oh

Well I started my box build yesterday. I put a couple sides on using only Liquid Nails. Now, it looks alright to me, but after doing that I read quite a few ppl on here hatin on liquid nails and saying to ONLY use liquid nails instead. So, should I knock off the 3 sides I attached, clean them a lil, and reattach with the magical Titebond? or just precede as I am, hoping the liquid nails holds?

btw, I will be bracing it some if that matters

I havent touched the stuff in a long time but iirc the bottle says not to use it on mdf, but people do and I guess it'll work just fine with the added support of screws. I'd suggest just using Titebond II from now on though.

I lol'd before even opening this thread, I just read the title. I've blown boxes apart when I used liquid nails. Titebond II won't let you down.

I always used Elmer's Wood Glue, screwed together and then sealed with caulk. Never did me wrong.

But then I never did anything outrageously involved.

I use chewing gum on my boxes:fyi:
never tried that on boxes, hows it working? i just drop globs of hotglue on everything and then go over any creases, i usualy go through about 100 sticks per side, only 5$ for 100 sticks at walmart

its about 4.5 cubes gross. simple box for 2 12s. going to use aeroports. I guess I'll continue on and see what happens. If it does blow up or fall apart I guess I'll just make another one. Not too hard or expensive really.

It actually work great. I prefer wintergreen over cinnamon. It holds much better.

I use nothing but liquid nails and screws together, never a problem.
my current box for the 2 18's and 5,000 watts is held together by liquid nails and screws. does plenty over 150 on music and it hasnt blown apart???

so in other words your fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
