Right now I have a Cadence TXA-6004 (supposedly 600x2 bridged) powering my Alpine Type-R and my Front stage (Morel Tempo 6).

I'm thinking my speakers could sound better with a better more efficient amp and I was thinking my sub could get a little more juice out of it. It's in a sealed box. I think 1.1 cubic ft.

I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks

Since a Type R only needs 500 RMS and the amp gives you 600 already you don't really need any extra power, plus depending on your powering system you might have to get larger wire and such, it might not be worth it. But thats just my personal opinion.

You don't need two amps. The speakers come with crossovers to help protect the tweeters.

Perhaps you changed something without mentioning it here? Maybe a loose turn on line? I dunno man...but we'll take it. Hopefully it keeps working. 👍
