Too many power/ground runs?

He smoked every Brazilian he tested. Just do it right the first time or it will end up costing more.
I had a Banda 5k and 7k. Had zero issues with them.

I don't abuse my equipment, so I don't think I'll have issues. *knocks on wooden coffee table*

2/0 can handle upwards of 400amps 6 is even over kill but will look cool.
For now it would be a bit of overkill. The 30k would pull more current though, so I suppose it won't be that much overkill in the end.

Lets say the 30k can actually do 15k.

At 86% efficiency, it would take about 1,500 amps of current to make that 15k at 12v. About 1,250 amps at 14v. Amplifier efficiency usually drops with the input voltage, so it would be even less efficient at lower voltage and pull more current. I'd prepare for a 1,750 to 2,000 amp draw if i had the funds.

In the real world, i won't be getting that much power out of it. Real world trial is the only way to see what sort of alts/batteries I'd need.

I don't think wire would be that complicated.

he also pushed the fk out of every brazilian beyond recommended parameters.
True that, but I do sort of like seeing the testing

You also don't keep it long enough to have issues. Good luck
Been beating the crap out of my bandas for almost 4 years. zero problems. Guess I need to keep them longer and i will report back when i have issues

How's my old 7k doing? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

He ran them at rated loads clean. That's not pushing it. Running a Korean at .25 is pushing it.
I think both is pushing it, honestly

No, He ran them at 1 ohm reactive. They weren't made to be ran at 1 ohm reactive yes 1 ohm reactive is severely pushing it for a brazilian. The amps count on your box rise to keep them at safe loads.

*I think you mean resistive

Reactive is subs. Reactive loads change. Impedance in an AC circuit, not resistance.

Resistive is a resistor that keeps a constant resistance.

Imo if it's rated at 1ohm it should at least be able to run 1ohm. I guess Koreans should all be rated at .25 since they count on rise. It will be ok to pop at .25 resistive.
Imo
I see where you're coming from. Was going to run the M4a at .25, but figured it would be better to get a Brazilian and run at one ohm nominal.

Just my choice/opinion.

Who knows, I may go back if they make a bigger single-board Korean. There is some giant stacked board stuff like the 26k Zapco, but it's just two smaller amps stacked. It's main purpose was to wow. I can't fit that in my car, and it is ridiculously expensive, even for big amps.
