I ran the amp 1 ohm stereo so I had to test per channel. I am honestly pretty amazed about it

20.4 ampsx 45.8 volts so 934.32 RMS per channel so 1868.64 RMS with imp rise 2.25 per channel so 4.5 ohms basically bridged and still did 1868 watts ... also to top it off!!! Dropping to 11.8 during test!!! It is rated 3000 at 2 ohm mono and 2000 at 4 ohm... And I got over 1900 at 4.5 at 11.5 so I am pretty sure this amp does rated and maybe then some. Now I am sure distortion rates were high but for what the amp costs. I did have a problem with it clipping out on my twice while driving on high freq but i am going to cut it some slack for now. I have a battery in the rear But I have cheap 4 gauge going from batt to amp and I am using a so so grounding point which I have the battery grounded there with 4 gauge and 4 gauge from the battery to the amp so perhaps it is getting some restriction.

I've seen others who benched this amp to find it's underrated too. I'm just not liking the cosmetics at all. Maybe if it was mounted with the guts showing through a plexi window.

I was considering getting 2 of these or the GD-6001's because of the price and the power that I have seen they are capable of. I decided to go with the AQ 2200's, not quite as much power but they look a hell of a lot better. Both of the Audiopipe amps I mentioned are fugly as hell

Yeah that is the only way I would use the amp cuz of the ugly cosmetics. Very powerful amp for sure. Audiopipe really does not get the credit they deserve, they seem to make loud subs, powerful amps, and reasonable prices

Definitely run it at 18v! Guy at the last comp in portland has his at 18v and he said it did 19,000rms!!!

Yeah the GD6001 will do around 3kw at .5ohms all day long and its rated at 2000x1 at 1ohm, I ran two of them, and then Two of the AP30001s and they hand the kx/zx2500.1 there ass for alot cheaper, and in my mind very sexy amps!!

Couple pics from the my Tahoe!!

Some guts

They lied. but I bet it would do close to 5k at a true 2 ohm load at 18 volts

Did you ever have any problems with those going into protect and what fixed it?

No never anyproblems with either line of amps, and the GD6001s we strapped at .5ohms for fun .25ohms each amp, and they played music in my tahoe dippin in the low 12 volt range for around 30 sec R/T Pimp was there for that one it was at his house..lol.. the audiopipe amps are a d*mn tank you cant beat them for the price, the GD6001s at .5ohm daily got a lil warm, but that was on a 3 hour drive to sound comps playing none stopped hard playing and still did 150+db tuned to 28hz so not bad, never had a problem with either line, im actually not sure what to do i really like the AP30001ds but i got a deal with MTX so gunna do that, but these amps are monsters and for the price you 100% wont beat them!

Well. I also tested the efficiency... It was over 90 percent which I am going to say is impossible... just doesn't sound right to me... Maybe I read the number wrong on the DC amps being pulled it was starting to get dark by then. I will try to run the test again this weekend with my friends clamp on too to confirm results
