2 12" Rockville 1000w rms subs powered by a 2000w pyle was playing fine and I wasn't pushing the subs hard at all and then they just stopped playing. Amp green light stays on
Do not exonerate the source just yet.Sounds like what's left is a "Pyle" of "Rocks" so to speak... What amp and is green good or bad? If both subs died at the same time, probably the amp. What is the model of the am &, subs? Are you able to power the subs with another source to see if the play at all?
Was this a new install?
If you have a multimeter, you can do this to check your amp's output.
If the voltage at the amp terminals is what it should be, and the wire is good, then you've just narrowed it down to the subs, and can check the resistance of the coils.
Green is good amp had a stroke and passed away subs are still living gonna rebuild thanksSounds like what's left is a "Pyle" of "Rocks" so to speak... What amp and is green good or bad?
