I just bought a 97 corolla for a work car. Still needs a system, but the engine is pretty loud inside. Sounds like a constant 25hz wave or something... The exhaust manifold is cracked and I'll be replacing that soon but is there any other reason it would be that loud. It's only inside the car too, outside it doesn't sound very loud at all. I just hope I can figure this out before I finish installing my system.

No rust that I noticed... I plan on buying a new header since that's maybe $10 more than the exhaust manifold alone. Would an exhaust leak be that low of a noise?

I might have to replace my whole exhaust from manifold back then. Does it sound like really low bass? I mean I always thought exhaust problems would be loud outside the car too... but I haven't paid much attention to it either. I'm not much of a mechanic, but how crazy does loose engine mounts sound for an explanation?

LOL - mine was a higher end model too - iirc deh-9300. Low mileage too, it was sitting around for year collecting dust.

One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...

Nothing to add to this, Just wanted to say good luck and that I miss MiniDisc. OH!! Is that a Japanese Radio Tuner or does it get stations in the US?
