i am getting a stinger battery from a buddy of mine. I currently have the big 3 upgraded to 2 gauge welding cable (compares to 1 gauge stinger) and stock battery in front. I was wondering if it is a bad idea to run 2 gauge wire straight from the alternator to the second battery in the back? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif looking for some advice.

Dont think their would really be any difference. The cables from the front battery and the back battery would be touching on the alt regardless. SO yea...save your self a little trouble by not getting the nut off the alt and just add the wires to your front battery. I was gonna do what you mentioned...but **** it was a pain in the ass to take the nut off the alt to do the big 3.
