I predilled holes in my sub box for EZ Lok inserts and noticed that some layers of the MDF began to separate and lift up so I stopped and removed the inserts. I used the correct size drill bit for the inserts as well. The first one I did, I noticed it has left a high spot in the wood as well.. Did I do something wrong?

LOL - mine was a higher end model too - iirc deh-9300. Low mileage too, it was sitting around for year collecting dust.

One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...

Nothing to add to this, Just wanted to say good luck and that I miss MiniDisc. OH!! Is that a Japanese Radio Tuner or does it get stations in the US?
