Those 18's might look pretty nice.....I don't really want to rebuild the whole center dash....but I may think about it...I have about 10 double dins laying around that need homes....

I still haven't decided on cutting the metal dash or spending money on a reproduction piece about $250 with the DIN slot already cut.....I think I can make the factory piece look just as nice....

IIRC, those vettes came with the chrome valve covers stock, so keep them. Be smart, spend the 250 and keep the original dash piece. Dont listen to any of these ricer weenies, either keep the stock rims, or at MOST, go with the 18 inch rallys. Original rallys are very rare.

I've been thinking about glassing the center dash so I can squeeze a double DIN in it...If so I'll run my spare Pioneer AVIC Z2 with updated hard drive

I decided to go with the Kenwood Excelon 4x6's...since they play down to 40hz...to replace the stock delco speakers in the dash...one is blown or don't play the other plays but sounds blown.....
