Hi,
I recently bought Pioneer PRS-X220 and now I was looking for some decent subwoofer for a good price. I found this
Subwoofer Pioneer TS-W305C Specs:
Size: 12 inch
Rec. Sealed Box Dims: 1.10 - 1.30 cu.ft.
Rec. Ported Box Dims: 1.20 - 1.40 cu.ft.
Free Air Usage: not recommended
Sensitivity: 89 dB
Frequency Response: 18-2,500 Hz
Recommended RMS Power: 400W
Peak Power Handling: 800W
Impedance: 4 ohms subwoofer wiring options
Amplifier - Pioneer PRS-X220 Specs:
LPF/HPF Network : : 50-120 Hz, -12dB/oct
Input level/gain control
PWM regulated MOSFET power supply
RCA gold-plated input and output terminals enabling Link Top connection for system expansion
Low load impedance capability (1-8 ohm)
High Voltage input capability (400 mV - 6.5V)
High performance balanced isolator circuit
Reversible endcaps for installation versatility
MOSFET output section
DIN power output (W) (DIN45324, +B = 14.4V) 2 x 87 or 1 x 313
Continuous power output (RMS)
14.4V
(20-20kHz/4ohms), 2 x 30W
(20-20kHz/2ohms), 2 x 60W
(Bridged 4 ohms), 1 x 120W
12V
(20-20kHz/4ohms), 2 x 30W
(20-20kHz/2ohms), 2 x 60W
(Bridged 4 ohms), 1 x 120W
Frequency response (Hz) 10 - 50,000
Distortion (%) 0.01
S/N ratio (dB) 100
Max. current consumption (A/4ohms) 19.2
Chassis size (W x H x D mm) 264 x 65 x 240
What do you think? Will the amplifier handle the power of the subwoofer or should I look for some less powerfull subwoofer with less rms power??
Best Regards,
-JJ-
