to match up with my cerwin vega xl600.1 amp (600x1 2ohms). i have a diamond audio D312 sub but i cooked the voice coils, so now i have a nice paperweight.. i need suggestions for a replacement. it will be going into a ProBox ported box turbo bass 112TB

(1) 12” Turbo Bass Universal with Port

Airspace: 1.80 cu. ft.

Mounting Depth: 7.75"

Dimensions:

W: 22" D: 15" H: 13.5"

so what are we thinking for a good 12" sub for my combo

no prefab box, get someone to build a good one for you or build it for yourself
i already have this box and love it.. no qualms with it. eventually i am going to do a custom fiberglass box but for now this does the trick

That box might work with a Alpine Type R dual 2 ohms, 600wrms would be fine for that sub.
ok thanks for the input. i have had the alpines before and they werent too bad

keep the suggestions coming

as i said i had these subs before. i had 2 in a sealed box with 1000 watts for the pair and i liked them. i just cant decide on what i want. i like the re's memphis and a few others but im trying to get a general consensus of what is a good sub to work with

man i am worst then most women.. cant decide between Memphis and RE

i just want a sub that i can just get out of the 130's with it

hmmm re se.... and you dont think i can get out of the 130's with my amp i got? also are the re's a good all around sub as far as loudness and deep low bass?

If you can find these in your area. Id recommend these for drop ins. They play from 40Htz on up. Sound very nice on amplified power for premium...

The Kappa's have a high sensitivity rating of 93 db so the X802-5 would be fine. A good high sensitivity 8" sub in a properly sized box would fit...
