Alright, my current sub setup is a 15" Fi Q in a sealed box powered by a JBL GTO 1201.1 II. It sounds good, but I'm getting really tired of having to pull the box in and out all the time just to use to back seat. I'm going to sell the 15" Q and buy a 10" or 12" sub that will fit in a box that I can just leave under the back seat all the time.

The reason I am posting about this is that I need recommendations on subwoofers for my application. I've got around $150 to $200 I'd be willing to spend...

What I need is:

-10" or 12" sub

-small enough mounting depth so as to fit in an under-seat PORTED box (the vehicle is a 2001 ex. cab SILVERADO).

-compatible with the supplied wattage and such of my current amplifier

The specs on the amp:

Also, if there are currently any subs in the classifieds that would work well for my application, then please point me towards them. Thanks for any help! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Bump... I need a SQL sub that can handle around 1200 watts RMS and perform well in a ported box that is around 2.4 cubes. SUGGESTIONS lol

i would go with a 5500 12's of the mtx they are pretty small...i got rid of them though i like a ton of bass and they was just ok...but it might better for u for ur space ur tryin to use

If you were looking for two 10s I have 2 IDv.3 10s cheap. They are like new condition, and do great in small sealed and ported

Hmm not sure if the DC level 4 10" is gonna be compatible with my amp... seeing as I'd have to wire it at 1 ohm for it to receive 1100 watts. And I'm not sure if my amp is 1 ohm stable? It'd still be getting ~800 if I wired it at 4 ohm though, so I may still get it.

If you can find these in your area. Id recommend these for drop ins. They play from 40Htz on up. Sound very nice on amplified power for premium...

That is the great thing about Maestro products, they are very thorough. Downside is the price tag.
