Na$ty a$$ honda accord (low lyfe) build log - 56k

Your boy is leading you down a wrong road. Where do you plan on crossing that 5.25"?

Edit: Nevermind, this is no SQ install, based of that speaker box.
He said that he plans on crossing them over between 4-5k

Anyone have any idea where I can order a full 8" aeroport or just the flanges? I received 2 4" ports today but would prefer to do 1 8"

Use an 8" sono tube from home depot and make your own flanges with mdf

(2) 4" ports do not equal (1) 8" port, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

2*3.14*2^2= 25.12 square inches for the (2) 4" ports

1*3.14*4^2= 50.24 square inches for the (1) 8" port

A single 6" port would give you close to the same port area (28.26")

thanks for the info. I have no idea about any of the port space calculations - I just order what I am told to order :x

I was told that the single 8" aeroport will make the dual 12's sound a lot better than 2 4" aeroports.
