JL HD750 or 1000 watt amp

I have a jl W7 12 in the ported spec HO box. I have a jd1000 on it now I was wondering if I get the 750 or a better 1000 watt JL amp would it make a big difference? Thanks for your help.

The JD does ~800 watts@ 3 Ohms so I assume there would be no noticeable difference.
