Hey guys, I am in the process of planning a system for my 2002 Ford Explore and was told that the JL Audio C5's are one of the best for a 6.5 compnt speaker. Is this true? I listen to alot of outlaw country & classic rock as well as a little bit of rap. I haven't decided on the head unit yet and will probably be powering these with an older Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp. Also not looking for the loudest but rather the best sounding speakers. Can anyone recommend anything else I should be looking at other than the C5's? Of course I would like to find something cheaper that sounds just as good but I am not sure what to get or what I should be looking at?

Ok I have heard of Focal but not h.a.t. or moral or hybrid technology? Can someone provide me with some information on those? Are they better than the jl audio c5's?

I'm running those in my pickup. There's no real "best amp" answer. You want something with really low THD, and 100-150w RMS per channel.
