JL 13w3 4ohm

Building an enclosure for 13” w3 4ohm for my buddy’s 2020 Subaru Outback. Lookin to be loud and clean without getting muddy or choking itself out... Lmk what your guys thoughts on dimensions and what not for a ported enclose. This is what I think I’m gonna build as of now unless you guys change my mind a little.... LMK Thanks

Your going to want to double up the front wall
35 is kinda high on the tune
Go into he specs section and look under ported specs

yah I usually double front I just didn’t put that on there. And ... You saying something like 27hz would be better then?

If that's what they recommend then its worth looking at

Talk to buck he will know what is going to work instead of trusting the manufacturer. Sometimes they are off and he can design a box to the music that person listens to and for the subwoofer you want to use. He doesn't charge much for the entire design he sends you.

Yeah I can design one for you. I’ve designed a lot of JL boxes, I like the w7’s quite a bit actually. I know exactly what to do with that w3.
