I'm building my system up for my Ford Ranger extended cab truck, and trying to figure out how to get the sound I'm looking for.
I've decided on two 10" L5's in a ported box for the lows (tuned to 34 Hz) and Pioneer series-D 6x8" door speakers for their lush, warm sound while still being easy-to-power composites.
It sounds OK, but I feel there is a distinct 'hole' right in the midbass section, particularily on kickdrums from between 100-200 Hz. How do I go about achiving fasty, snappy midbass?
I'm talking rock-concert/real drum type sound, the kind that makes you feel like YOU'RE getting kicked! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
