im running a sub and two speakers off a 5 channel amp.[kenwood 650d excelon].im trying to bridge the two speakers to four channels. the manual illustrates one rca cable to both the left channels of amp a and b .but im only getting sound from the left side. do I need a y splitter to activate right side?cant understand why manual wouldn't illustrate this. head unit only has two rca outs. 1 to sub, etc.

Does the amp have a 2ch-4ch switch? Should be on 2. You can also y split the signal.

yeah, it has a A channel for one amp and a AB channel for using both amps.speaker connections are set up for bridged connections but I only get sound from one side.you can google kenwood kac 650 d and it shows the manual.

Yeah you need to run a y splitter. Is it set to stereo?

no, I set it to mono for bridged connections, when I set it stereo the sub is disabled. I need to play around with it some more. my heads swimming right now.I reall appreciate your help.

Set it to stereo and on the input selector, use ab on the left and sub on the right. Run the front rca's with a y splitter to the a and b input on the amp. Should fix it.
