I installed my head unit, and still nothing. I noticed a slight spark between the ground wire and chassis of the car, not sure if that's normal lol. It's too cold for me to mess around with it now

 
Did you try the jumper thing? Sounds like when you installed your deck you may of connected the rem to the power antenna wire insted of the rem wire. Try jumping the rem to the power, if it turns on your rem at the deck is not hooked up properly.

 
^^^^ this, the small spark is the cap's inside the amp charging. Now for your amp not coming on just take a small peace of speaker wire and strip it back about 1/8th inch and just touch the remote connection with one end of the wire and the batt+ with the other end. If there isn't anything wrong with the amp it will come on.
