yeah the sound i prefer is a massive spike in the 10khz to 20khz range. The rest should be smoothed out. Most of the home drivers cant deliver that top end sparkle, only thing that came close was the budget vifa XT 25s or some seas aluminium tweets I heard at some SQ comps. Scanspeak is a totally different story though. They are monsters.

Go to DIYMA and ask your questions there, most of the guys there only suggest stuff they have had experience with instead of people saying "x" is good when they have never heard them. People around here aren't the brightest when it comes to SQ. All they care about is loundness.
