Sounds like his headunit ran out of antifreeze..

Going to have to say exactly what he's running.

He probably blew his radiator from all the deebeez.

The two things don't seem to be related. The listening environment may be different. If he got a new radiator installed incorrectly somehow, there may be more ambiant noise that the speakers have to overcome.

This is a wild guess, but is it possible that when his radiator went that a connection to it went with it and is causing it to short circuit? Could he be losing a lot of power to a short? I'm certainly no mechanic, so I'm not sure.

If the radiator went out and shot coolant on relays and sensors which are not waterproof then he could be shorting stuff or battery is bad.

Could also be alternator regulator fried.

Serious. His radiator straight up blew up. Steam everywhere. I havnt had a chance to look at it. Only thing i can think of is that a fuse somewhere went and is somehow related too the internal headunit amp.
