This dust cap is constructed of commercial grade carbon fiber that is 300ksi in strength over a polypropylene form. This fabric has tow size of 3k and is woven in a 2x2 twill weave. This is the most widely used pattern in the automotive industry. This material is woven tighter than most of our competitors' fabrics. This will help ensure a straight weave and a better looking final product.
This material is a high grade PAN fiber, which means you are receiving a higher quality material than many of the other fabrics on the market. The fabric was woven by BGF and their long lasting presence in the composite industry will ensure you receive a quality material.
