fuse on my amp keeps blowing

i have a small kicker 150.2 amp for my highs and for some reason the fuse on the amp keeps blowing...i rewired my system so it has its own 8 gauge wire coming from the battery i have everything hooked up right but every time i connect the battery n crank up the truck the fuse on the amp blows...its a 25amp fuse n i have a 30 amp fuse in the front fuse box can anyone help me out im completely lost im startin to think my amp is just broke...

dbl check your wiring 1st

then try using a 40-60 amp fuse on the wire run and use whatever fuse in the amp that it is supposed to have...

if it is the zx or kx series it may very well be blown... which is not uncommon for that line..

yea tomorrow when i get some more fuses ill try to test it out...im too broke to be buyin another amp lol...but yea i have a 60 n a few 40 amp fuses left for the fuse box up front...and my amp needs a 25 amp fuse thats not gonna be pushing it?...and could it possibly be something dealing with the ground? btw it is a kx series amp

Do you have a digital multimeter? You can test for shorts on your wire run or on the amp. It's $10 and if you're a DIY person, it's very worth the price. Saves you the headaches and money in car audio.
