Pioneer hasnt made any quality amps to my liking since the 90s, as well as Kenwood to be honest. I do like Kenwood/JVC HUs though. You need a decent made/ tuned enclosure for the sub to serve any Justice for you. I would look at a Glue and Screw Sub Enclosure from GP Audio
