is very indecisive
Ok today i realized that my front driver speaker started crackling very badly. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/plthumbsdown.gif.d7966af824c93c6021d1aae1778b1c19.gif
So i proceed to take off my door panel and see what is wrong with the speaker.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif
After about 30 minutes of troublesooting i realize that everytime that a bass line hits the voice coil touches the speaker and creates this noise. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif
So i proceeded to bend back the voice coil and viola!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif no more crackling, but as i keep listening it eventually happens again.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif
Now my question is would it be dangerous to tie the voice coil down so it will refrain from hitting the cone everytime bass hits.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
I was thinking maybe a piece of string or something but im not doing anything to it until i find out it thats ok any input would be greatly appreciated
TIA.
