The special clearcoat that prevents yellowing and fade to the carbon fiber? link to where it is said that this stuff costs 60k a gallon. That seems highly unlikely even for a high end car. GM is trying to make money not lose it.

I'm sure some Carrera GT owners would love to know about this miraculous paint, as well as CF manufacturers, considering CGT's are already yellowing.

The car was auctioned off for charity, and it will be the only ZR1 in that color. Also included a couple other bonuses, such as a tour of Jay Leno's garage.
