ok i am well aware of what clipping IS, but how do i reduce the amount of it taking place in my system? ok please be mature and not completely rag on my brand choice, i have a 2300hct 2400w audiobahn amp and 2 1508t subs and my amp came with the bass knob that lights up blue, and flashes red when clipping occurs, and i turn the knob up just a little bit from all the way down and it clips like mad. i know thats bad for the subs but its gets god **** loud from that point. is there any way to reduce the level of clipping without dramatically sacrificing spl? feel free to ask me anything about my setup because i dont really know what causes it to clip so much. any HELP is appreciated. thanks

I would pull the HU and bench test it. Can be done with a 12v battery on a non-metal work bench easily enough.
