I have a slot port box that I am modifying for a customer. The box outside dimensions will be 14.5" tall x 34" wide x 36.75" long, material is 3/4" mdf...the port I have designed is 13" tall x 7" wide x 10" long....sub displacement is .44 cubes total.

If my calculations are correct, with all displacments taken into account the final box specs should be 7.63 cubes tuned to 32hz (roughly)

If anyone doesn't mind, please check the specs to see if I calculated it right. For some reason, I just don't feel comfortable as I normally do with my designs.

Thanks

I have 7.59 cu/ft after sub and port disp tuned to 42.515hz with 91 sq in of port area.

8.6187 net vol

0.4400 sub disp

- 0. 58304 port disp

7.5956 final vol after displacements

You need to more than double that port length to get the tune down to 32hz.
