Can a 4 ohm speaker handle 2 ohms?

That's not how it works lol. Your speakers are 4 ohms meaning their voice coil has a resistance of 4 ohms. You can't magically change the impedance of a speaker without reconing it, but you can change the final impedance by putting 2 speakers in parallel or series. Your amp will see a 4 ohm load from the kappas, but say you got another pair of speakers and wired them in parallel, then the amp would see 2 ohms

If you have two single 4 ohm subs if you wire them together you can get a 2 ohm load. It has nothing to do with your subs "handling" 2 ohms. It is just a matter of how they are wired.

Kappas up front are 2 ohm 100w rms, kappa perfects in the rear are 100w rms @ 4 ohm. My RF amp puts out either 50w x 4 @ 4 ohms or 100w x 4 @ 2 ohms. Will both sets see 100w rms?

Its a RF P400.4, its bridgeable, but Im a newb, hence why I paid 311 for someone to install this, but the rears only getting 50w rms makes me sad in pants //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

LOL $311 just to install 1 amp... Yes u can bridge ur channels but that amp is not 2ohm stable when bridged.

Less power in the back is generally a good thing. More power in the front sets a better sound stage (sound appears to come from the front) and lower power to the rears give a bit of "rear fill".

1 amp, custom fit the 6.5's in my mustang, and run new wires. But its cool to know if I want full power for the rear's Ill have to get another amp.

Like david said the rears will have lil to no impact on the system. Alot of people don't even use rears. You will be fine with what u have. $311 is still $$$ for what u got done but u live u learn.
